I was a little excited yesterday 'cuz I finally dug the harddrive out of my old busted laptop and hooked it up to get some stuff off it. So yeah, back to accessing some of those files for the first time in months. I was able to do some documentation on the books I've read. Ooh, I was also able to access that old access database from my old desktop that I could never open on my laptop because of microsoft, but this work laptop has a more permission version of excel so I was able to open it! I know discogs has filled in that void, but it will be nice to get back to my own database as I'm fond of my little differences. Few things I forgot to mention earlier. Here's a little story about the trip back. We were in the Philadelphia airport between flights, on the shuttle over to that terminal F I had talked about before (the one that's separate from the other terminals, hence the shuttle). There was this family behind me talking. Someone asked what "I'm sorry" is in spanish. So someone said "lo siento" but then someone else said "no, 'siento' means a hundred." That made me laugh. Horace has been exceptionally cuddly. It seems he's been happier now that I'm not giving him that aluminum hydroxide with his fluid anymore. I mean, he doesn't love getting stuck with a needle every day, but he hated tasting that stuff more than anything. So our daily medicine sessions since we came back seem to be going much more nicely and he seems less anxious around me than he has in a long time. That is nice!
