Yesterday evening I finished reading The Cement Garden by Ian McEwan. It was good and creepy (though I was expecting it to go even more over-the-top after the things Mary Beth said about it). Anyway, now it's back to the Burroughs biography. I also had some motherfucking Crystal Pepsi! I'd seen it at the grocery store earlier, the first I knew of its comeback, so I naturally had to try it. Well, I tried it. Now I can go back to not drinking it. I remember that I liked it the first time around when I was a younger lad. Well, it's not bad. It tasted like Pepsi but with a muted flavor. But after a while (maybe halfway through the bottle) this ghost of a weird chemical taste starts to hover about it. So all in and all it's pretty pointless. But I had some again, yay nostalgia. Back to work today. Getting back into the swing of things. Also my sunburn is pretty faded and had gotten to the point where it was almost all not even noticeable. But a little while ago it started peeling in places and concurrently itching in those same places. Ach!
