During the lunch break we did the Fresh Market grocery run. Then I finished reading Murphy by Samuel Beckett and it was pretty good. We got our lead filter in the mail. It's the kind that attaches to the faucet, but the hookup piece is incompatible with the one for the dishwasher. Also, when the filter's on the water just trickles out. It's also pretty big and bulky for where it sits and it feels pretty cheap and flimsy (and so like, do you want to swap out your lead for microplastics?). Also, not sure if it was my imagination and I was looking for something, but the water that came out of it when I drank it tasted kinda funny. Now don't get me wrong, I surely DON'T want to keep drinking leaded water (though I mean, does it matter if I already have almost twenty-three years of it?). We're going to try a pitcher filter also. The whole thing though is just crappy and obnoxious.
