We saw him in Madison last night and i was just astonished with the performance. I hadn’t given him a ton of thought with the exception of UHF, but he is genuinely funny and just one hell of a performer (with 9 costume changes, including the “I’m Fat” suit.) Mid-set, he did a straight version of Alex Chilton’s The Letter and it really just made me freeze for a sec. It was just a superb cover. The thing went on for 2 hours. Literally a stageshow.
Anyways, i have a greater appreciation for Wierd Al now.
