Mary Beth and I had a nice fun Friday date night. After work we went and had dinner at La Roche (the Lebanese place in Cooper-Young that I'd been to once but Mary Beth hadn't been). And it's still super delicious. After that we walked around a little bit. We went and looked at the cats at House of Mews. Then we made a stop in Burke's. I picked up some books: Plum Bun by Jessie Redmon Fauset, Voyage: The Coast of Utopia Part I by Tom Stoppard, Shipwreck: The Coast of Utopia Part II by Tom Stoppard, Salvage: The Coast of Utopia Part III by Tom Stoppard, Once in Europa by John Berger, We Love Glenda So Much and A Change of Light by Julio Cortázar, Mazurka for Two Dead Men by Camilo José Cela, Labrador by Kathryn Davis, Trilogy by Jon Fosse, Our Gang by Philip Roth, Aiding and Abetting by Muriel Spark, and City of God by E. L. Doctorow. Then later at night we had a nice time watching Love & Basketball together.
