Rock and Not Rock

The Family Ghost practiced on Sunday. It went pretty well. "Histrionics" is actually coming together somewhat. Still needs work, but considering we've never played it live together in this lineup (and it was unsuccessfully played live in a tenuous previous lineup) and the arrangement's being worked out and last week was just shambles. Boring work things: I actually started training (kind of) on the position I was hired for (data entry). Saturday night, for a little over the last hour of my shift, I sat and watched someone do it. Nothing yesterday. For some reason, the night before last my mp3 player didn't charge and the battery ended up dying a little over halfway through my shift yesterday. Luckily it was time I could take a break and I switched out with my phone which I snuck in my pocket. That worked out. I was distracted right before I was leaving where there was a problem with a batch I had scanned, it was figured out (someone thought something was missing, but it wasn't they just didn't realize it went with "another" batch that they thought was smaller...I'm boring myself typing all this junk). Anyway, that was right before I was leaving and it distracted me enough that I forgot my water bottle. Hopefully it's alright. Okay, yeah. Ooh.
