"Maria, Lila Song"
Jun. 21st, 2012 10:25 amI wrote these lyrics a few months ago to revive that old TFG song that Josh used to sing on. Looking back on it now is bringing up doubts as to how good some of it is. Hm.
Spinning around and flailing your limbs
You'll be different when I se you again
The space you change in has always been
It will be different when you see it again
Life is long until it grows short
These permutations that it must sort
But once they're sorted, there's no more to import
We all want to see if you'll be the sort
There's so much before you, so much to change
To see what we saw and it won't seem strange
Don't grow bitter, infested with mange
Keep what's perfect, even if we're estranged
Spinning around and flailing your limbs
You'll be different when I se you again
The space you change in has always been
It will be different when you see it again
Life is long until it grows short
These permutations that it must sort
But once they're sorted, there's no more to import
We all want to see if you'll be the sort
There's so much before you, so much to change
To see what we saw and it won't seem strange
Don't grow bitter, infested with mange
Keep what's perfect, even if we're estranged
