Pre and Post
Jun. 18th, 2012 05:00 pmI went over to my grandmother's yesterday and hung out with her a bit and my dad too. Father's Day thing. My dad and I went and got Mexican for lunch/dinner (his choice, wouldn't've been my first choice right before a show, but all was good). The, of course, it was all show time and stuff. I've already mentioned that junk. I will mention that we swapped cds with Whose Army? so I now have a copy of their The Tree of Leaves and Fire disc. Oh, and you can listen to the show just like you were there!:
This morning I woke up early and went and had a CT scan of my head. I came back home and went back to sleep. Mary Beth woke up a little over an hour later and freaked out saying I slept through my appointment. I had to be like, no I was there dude. I have the blue bandage around my arm still to prove it. Also, I was petting Horace this morning and he shook his head and globules of drool went flying and hit me in the face. Anyway, Jacques came over and we did lunch at Pho [Hoa] Binh and it was great and I ated a lot. My order from Important Records showed up in the mail: Pauline Oliveros: Reverberations: Tape & Electronic Music 1961-1970 (12 fuckin' disc box set!), Elaine Radigue: Transamorem-Transmortem, Kluster: Vulcano, and Kluster: Admira. I was supposed to get a Merzbow shirt, but it wasn't there. I'll have to get to the bottom of this.
