Upcoming House Show

On Friday Mary Beth and I went to the Dixon for that "American modern" collection exhibition thingie. It was good, there was some nice stuff in it. It wasn't anyone super-famous, but that can be nice too. The abstract stuff was the nicest. There was kinda some populist stuff that wasn't very good, but I liked most of it. Afterwards we got some paletas. On Saturday The Family Ghost practiced. We worked on this new one (and now it has a name: "Death Blow"). Hung out with Josh and Molly at their place Saturday night. We got someone asking us to play a house show next Sunday, and at first we said no because of my exertion headaches I can't play normally. Then they were like "are you sure? we don't mind if you're loose" and I decided I could play some of my guitar/bass parts on the synth and that would be alright. So we're gonna do that. Jacques and Ryan and I got together yesterday to work out the new arrangements and it seems to be going just fine. That's exciting. I forgot to mention last week that I got Curb Your Enthusiasm: the Complete Eighth Season in the mail. We watched it up pretty fast.
