We had our pillates class yesterday and then our workout. In the afternoon I went over to my grandmother's. When I got back home Jacques came over and we put down the guitar for "Histronics." Jacques had also brought over his melodica and came up with a part for the end. And I felt proud for coming up with a pretty cool arrangement for his part. (He also kept forgetting the part he'd just come up with and I kept reminding him how it went. My memory may have even made some stuff up of its own, not sure about that). Anyway, I'm pretty excited. Seems to be coming together. About all that's left is the vocals and drums if we can get Brad in. We do seem to be running low on tracks, I'll probably bounce the bass down to one track pretty soon (I don't know if I mentioned this before, but the machine kinda tricks ya: it has 24 tracks but 12 of them are "stereo tracks" which means they're linked together in groups of two that cannot be separately controlled, so for most practical purposes there's more like 18 tracks). Oh! And on our upcoming road trip to Rochester, one of the places we're gonna be stopping for a couple days is Asheville and I've already set it up to get my Voyager (and delay pedals) serviced and to tour the factory! I've been squealing with glee lately.
