Mary Beth and I had our wellness exams at the Y yesterday. Of course, I'm not in great shape but it wasn't as horrible as it could have been. On most I counts I was just slightly "below average." My heart, however, seems to be in excellent shape so that's good. We went through a brief workout as a kind of introduction to a regimen. That felt pretty good. My mp3 player arrived yesterday. So I've started loading shit onto it, pretty excited, but it takes so damn long. Jacques came over last night and we had something of a practice, just the two of us. We worked on a couple new things. One of them, however, sounded a LOT like "Waking Up" by Disco Inferno in Jacques's guitar part. He's gonna work on it so it doesn't sound so ripped-off. Apparently, I was thrashing around and acting like I was having a heart attack or something last night. I don't recall any of it. As far as I know I just slept straight through the night. I do feel a little sleepier than usual though, not a lot, just a little.
