went out and got a book last night...a book i'd alread had and Mary Beth's sister "borrowed" while here for the wedding (i guess there was some thing where she thought Mary Beth had taken her copy though she hadn't so she assumed the books she was looking at were Mary Beth's when in fact they were mine so she asked to borrow it presumably without planning to return it...) anyway, got a replacement of The Stories of Vladimir Nabokov, and it's funny 'cuz i ended up with like two or so more stories than in the version i originally had (which is also funny 'cuz the one i originally had has one more story than the one Mary Beth has...i didn't even know stories had been recently unearthed...and all three versions have the same cover and everything...so i guess that aspect is fortuitous...on my way to work this morning, seriously, i saw a deadhead sticker on a cadillac...an el dorado, a little older (well, as they apparently don't make 'em anymore i guess it'd have to be) and it was the only sticker on the car...makes me wonder if they have it for the Grateful Dead themselves or if they're more a Don Henley fan...
