more work and ice and stuff...the roads were generally better today...the at least one lane primarily being driven on would for the most part be perfectly clear with the infrequently used lanes being solid sheets of ice...so, for practical purposes, i say the roads were generally much better...shady oaks was super icy, but nothing that super-slow speeds can't handle...and as nothing was falling from the sky, i could enjoy the pretty winter-wonderland scenery...the drive home was even less icy than the drive to work...there were less people there today than yesterday...once again i was the only one who stayed til the center closed...i finished reading Virtual Light by William Gibson...it was okay, pretty enjoyable but light...not nearly as good as the other stuff i've read by him...anyway...
