LEAK!

Ryan came over and we were trying to figure out places to set up this show on the 19th...well, he's here for a while and then goes into the kitchen and there's a bunch of water dripping through the ceiling and the kitchen floor's in the wee beginnings of a little flood...there's some leak or something in the apartment upstairs...i went up there and talked to 'em briefly and they said a plumber was supposed to fix whatever tomorrow morning (like, this morning now) and seemed to imply frustration at our landlord having dragged his feet etc...i put up a bucket and moved the electrical crap underneath into the other room and in not too long the drip slowed and then pretty much stopped...but i was a little freaked out that the ceiling would fall in and the whole thing would flood...hopefully it's all better for real now...then after that huey's nachos with Mary Beth and Jacques and Amber was the perfect thing to soothe my soul...
