i didn't do too much studying last night, but i think i did okay on my calc exam...not great but we'll see...on my way to physics class i ran into John Grizzle, a former fellow high school band percussionist (the section leader, actually...) and had a brief on-the way to class exchange w/ him...it was cool seeing him again...i was a little late for physics, but that do'n matter...then after physics i got my exam from two weeks ago back and...i got a fucking 98!!! boojyeah!!! or something...that's actually close to what i was expecting...i lost one point for something really stupid...i actually did the thing right, i just wrote it down wrong at the beginning, but didn't do it the wrong way...but 'ay! a 98's a fockin' 98...ran into this hardassmothafucka on the way to my car and showed off my recently obtained grade to her...it's a slight improvement over the 48 i got on the first exam, i'd say...then i went over to The Apartment and woke David's ass up...we then proceeded to Piggly Wiggly where we purchased our tixxx for the final night of the Memphis in May Beale Street Music Festival (read: Sonic Youth)...so ummm...phuck yea...this cd is REALLY REALLY great stuff...then we sat around some and then we went and ate at Fino's, we both had the fockin' New York fockin' sanmwich! (tasty stuff too...) then back at The Apartment he passed out again so i went back home...i guess i'll be doing my operating systems hw that was due yesterday today...if i don't maintain my procrastinatory habbits too badly...

something funny: our first day in NYC, whilst walking around aimlessly, we saw Anthony Kedis and Flea...they looked just a little bit lost as well...and short...we should've pushed 'em over or something...(RRROIGHT!)
and i'll never be able to eat honey roasted peanuts out of a can again...not after the magnificent (and waaaaarm) breed of honey roasted peanut that came from a street vendor in Central Park...mmm...roasted...

(drool)

new york street food keeps me going. and also keeps me awake at night. ah. i want some nuts in a bag now. grr.

i really dislike hot dogs, but the exception to that is--i will eat them if they come from a vendor in the park. but other foods are yummy, too.

(i miss new york and i'm lamenting)

mmm...york...<drool>

the only other street vendor food i had was a kabob (this one came from the Times Square area...) and it was soooooo good as well...i could just go around all day buying here and there from each vendor, just eating and walking around all day...looking at buildings...and food...hrm...i wonder if that's where David Byrne got his inspiration...if so, maybe it'd cause me to make one of the best albums ever as well...
