there are a couple of ya'll, if you're reading this...but in one week one half of The Family Ghost will be playing one song on stage at the Empty Bottle for the Silkworm tribute show...so next saturday you should be there! (you know, if you don't have anything better to do...) hopefully myself and Jacques won't embarrass ourselves, but i'm sure that'd be something to see too! and there's a bunch of bands...uh...i guess i can't really add much else to that...

i've never been there although i think i've been to most of chicago's bigger venues...i recently heard that Steve Albini refuses to have anything to do with the empty bottle, although i've no idea where his grudge comes from...as for tearing it up, we'll tear as much as can be torn with half a band playing one cover...

i believe we'll be leaving early friday and leaving to come back on sunday...Jacques and Amber are like staying a week, but not me...i originally thought i was going to be leaving on saturday, which would be lame 'cuz i'd pretty much get there in time for the show and then leave straight away the next day and wouldn't have time to do nothin' (much like the last time i was in chicago, though at least i managed to squeeze into reckless for a few minutes before the show i went to see) but since everyone's got friday off, might as well to have a little time to at least do SOMETHING while i'm there...
