and i finished reading Wise Blood by Flannery O'Connor at work today...it's weird 'cuz at first as i was reading it, every other chapter i was like "i know i've read this" now it would be weird to have read a book and not even remember it...then i was thinking i'd probably read excerpts in some past class...but looking around through other books i came to realize that a good lot of the book was written as short stories...at least half of it...not that it's a long book...but anyway, that's all...and in the mail today: Joan of Arc: Eventually, All at Once...

I've been trying to read that for a couple of years, actually. I have no idea why i can't get into it. I get about 2 chapters in and just put it down.

it's good...i recommend getting through it...and if you can finish it's really short anyway...stuff happens pretty quickly starting with probably chapter 3 and keeps happening so yeah...having a job where i read a bunch at work, i finished it in less than 2 days...so it's good AND painless!

that "lu" warms me cockles. you can do wordplay in french! that makes me smile.

we should listen to faulkner around when you finish up some maybe? if you'd be up for it.

and i am trying to figure out how to put django reinhardt on a mix tape for you, as i type.

i'm sorry if this all sounds obsessive. i actually couldn't care less about you, jerkface! just so we're clear...

actually that's not really wordplay...that's an actual transported-into-english prhase along with déjà entendu (which since i discovered it a few months ago thought would be a nice second album title should one ever be made), they're just not as common as their obvious lingustic sibling...

and i'm glad we're clear!, stinkholefoot!
