so last week we got these flyers at working announcing a "book fair" at work today...of couse, i was expecting it'd be some lame sort of thing, but even should there be one halfway decent book there for 70% off would not be a bad thing...i even showed up to work a wee bit early just so i wouldn't have to bother going through the trouble on my breaks...then i get to work and it's like the whole idea never existed in spite of this flyer i'm looking at...like some government coverup or something...anyway, that's all i have to talk about...

We didn't have a book fair because some jerks complained about it. I really don't understand what is wrong with some people.

complained? what about? that it would be getting in the way of the bustling activity of the break room? that doesn't even make sense to complain about...

well that sucks. I know I voiced my concerns to you that one day but you clarified what it was all about. Personally, I think the place needed a bit more literacy encouragement. Maybe those of us expecting it should complain that it never happened and there was never cancellation notification all the way around.

no, duh! they only listen to people who complain about STUPID things that other people are doing that affect them in no way whatsoever...they won't listen if your complaint makes some sense...
