no show / too much show

well, the show last night was a bust...so many bands...we were to play second to last...first off, Brad left when he found out the pseudo order and spent all night getting trashed constantly trying to weasle out of playing when we'd call him (which of course culminated in not answering his phone when we called him to come up there for real...) the bands played too long, i believe other bands had problems with stuff...i dunno...Soul Enforcers (as the end was growing near) switched the order around so they wouldn't be playing last and played earlier...then when the band after them started playing the bartended was just like "i'm sorry this is going on too long this is going to be the last band"...so the two bands left not playing were We Fuck Everything (i was going to be drumming) and The Family Ghost...so we kinda got screwed...oh well...it was a uh...i dunno...uh...the end and stuff...

didn't they have times set up.. that sucks. . i would ask to play another show.. for your effort lugging all yr equipment and shit.. and you couldn't even play..

the venue didn't set up or plan the show...i think there were supposedly at least rough timelines/lengths for the bands but they weren't enforced (probably not really even communicated in the first place) and the bands played "too long" no less by the two bands of the guy that was running the show that got to play (one being the band mentioned that was originally going to play last but bumped themselves up and got to play...) and while i'm at it the other band of his took the longest of any bands to set up...close to 30 minutes to set up probably...maybe closer to 20 but at least that...anyway, yeah...whatever...
