Converse is not going out of business, they've just filed bankruptcy...they're still gonna make shoes and stuff...good to know, and i apologize for these vicious rumours i've started to spread...(oh wait, only like 5 ppl'll read this or something...)

Well, if it's Chapter 11 bankruptcy, that's not so bad -- that's just reorganization. Chapter 7 is the bad one (liquidation). Hopefully it's the former.

Last I heard they were doing the bankruptcy thing and then moving their manufacturing overseas somewhere. It was really trippy to hear NPR (http://search.npr.org/cf/cmn/cmnps05fm.cfm?SegID=113592) do a profile on Converse being the last Made in America shoe company. I just hope they bring back some decent colors.

they always have cool colors...they often have certain colors in seasonal runs...but yea...thank you very muchoabout the music...i guess i'm not an obsessive dork for nothing, or something like that...and that's a miniature schnauzer in the picture...
