before i went to sleep last "night" i did actually do some writing...a bit over three pages so i now have just over four pages in my novel...this is actually quite rapid progression for me...sadly enough...the next time i sit down and write i shoudl be done w/ the first chapter...which is a nice thought...i woke up at about three and did my usual nothing...as i was watching The Simpsons as i always do, Jacques called and he and Paul wanted me to come over so i did...he called the writers group thing off 'cuz Amber came back in town again for the weekend later this evening...i sat around as Jacques made her yet another mixed tape (i guess to smooth over the bitterness of the last one somewhat...) then Paul and i went to the dreaded Apocalypse to play chess...we played two matches and i won both, woohoo! to make up for my getting my ballz stomped last time...we had acquired Chris on our way to the Apocalypse as well...Paul and i ate Back Yard Burgers on the way up there and we stopped off at this chinese place on Highland 'cuz Chris wanted to eat there...which reminds me of something from a few weeks ago that i THINK i had forgotten to put in my journal...it was a while ago, i might have, but it's so good i'll risk repetition...i had gotten the coolest fortune ever: "All that is human must disintegrate if it does not advance." yea...after that we went back to The Apartment...David came home shortly later and we decided we wanted ice cream for some reason so Chris and i went to Seesils and got two things of ice cream and some Heath shell topping stuff...we had ourselves a little ice cream party...we also put in Jack Frost which had been rented a few days ago...only half paying attention...at least for the funnier parts...although that is one of the most pathetic movies i've half seen...future news: Man...or Astro-Man? is playing here yet again saturday (at least one good band plays here often), but even cooler than that is the band opening for them: Bride of No-No...i've yet to hear them but a few days ago i was reading about them (and Scissor Girls, one of the girls in the band's previous band...) they're on Atavistic and supposed to be all new no wave...i had been meaning to get into them then there in the Flyer, bam! they're playing here and stuff...i'm actually quite excited about that...Azita Youssefi is the chick's name (i've even seen pictures of her naked, woo! or something...) but i like noise...or something...blah...i guess that's all this pathetic loser has to report for now...

yes...though there's another movie made by the same company that i really want to see...(i saw brief bits of it as my dad was flipping through the channels once): Uncle Sam...for some reason there's a big Uncle Sam guy going around killing ppl...i wonder if that came from some sort of genetic mutation too...and if the guy's name was Uncle Sam before he was genetically mutated...
