i was swayed into believing that i wouldn't have to move...convinced that, despite my initial reservations, everyting was going to be alright...now we can't even get in touch with Dustin...he's making no effort to contact me and it's looking pretty grim...yay! i'm probably going to have to start moving tomorrow!!! and to top all the cheeriness, i think my car's going to break down any minute...it started making horrible noises and acting funny on my way home from work yesterday...i didn't think i'd make it today, but i managed to get there and back...i don't think i can vouche for it much more though...The Family Ghost attempted to record last night...we started to do "The Longest Day of the Year"...we were close, but not quite...and we had everything set up and almost ready for when we'd get together next time...but it doesn't look like there will be a next time so i guess none of that matters...

as for the apartment: things got better...my friend to whom he's a friend of picked me up and we tracked him down and discussed it and he will be moving in so that's good...

as for my car: things probably got worse...at first i thought it might just be low on transmission fluid...by my friend said he thinks it has a snapped rod...and that's probably really bad...his dad's a mechanic and he said he'd call him today to see about looking/maybe fixing it...

but anyway, you should definitely get up my way...since i don't have to move again you've got a place to stay if you do...
