today at work i was once again the recipient of all-star parking for the month!!! because of my being among the top scores for the month of may...i'm such a relay badass, uh yeah...then after work i went to the mall...i got some games at the video games store for the GameBoy Advance: Super Puzzle Fighter II and Activision Anthology...fuckin' awesome eh? yeah i'm cool...Amanda also had some gifts for me: The Millennium Problems: the Seven Greatest Unsolved Mathematical Puzzles of Our Time by Keith Devlin and Spanish for Health Care Professionals so now i can refuel my dwindling spanish vocabulaty with talk of diseases and such...bitchin'...while i was in the video game store this guy kept talking to me...he first said something about my shoes and how he's never seen any green shoes in memphis...then he asked me about video games and we got to talking about that...(i think he may have been the guy that comment on my Pavement shirt in that store months ago, but i don't have a vivid memory of that minor incident) at first i was trying to decide whether i should be creeped out or not but then i decided he seemed decent...i guess we have some similar taste in video games, at least when it comes to Zelda and old NES games...as we've already established that he's working at a video store, he's obviously a bit of a nerd to start off with...then topped with the fact that he's in his early/mid twenties and balding and wearing glasses...but our little video game conversation turned out to be less creepy than most conversations that would start off with someone complimenting someone else on dress...now i'm back home and i had my DNA: DNA on DNA cd waiting for me in the mail...as you can see i'm listening to it now and it's fucking amazing...yeah...oh yeah, in my last post i mentioned watching The Black Circle Boys...well, i had intended in throwing in a joke about it not being good as another movie i'd seen called The Brown Circle Boys...it's probably far too late for this to be funny but i'll say it anyway...fuck you! so yeah, The Black Cirlce Boys wasn't as good as this other movie i'd seen before that's called The Brown Circle Boys...

Those bastards spackled over the biggest glory holes... :(

I asked because that used to be my roommates' store... that "game advisor" is actually pretty off his proverbial rocker.

bah! they didn't just spackle they put up goddamn metal glory-proof stalls!!! thus a dark cloud descended upon our city...

"game advisor" eh? i had my suspicions, but i figured i get wary whenever anyone i don't know talks to me at all on any level...so does that mean you have any good crazy-dude stories to share?

I'm pretty sure he tried to kill himself in one of our bathrooms once, which was pretty nut-tastic.

"I've never seen any green shoes in Memphis"??? What the fuck kinda statement is that? It might sound harmless but to me, it sounds like sometihng a psychopath would say. He's prolly obsessed with you.

i mean, that's not a verbatim quote and that wasn't the absolute first thing he said...and when he was saying that i was kind of like "...hm...ok..." but hey maybe he is a psychopath...that'll just make it all the more dangerous and sexy...

All the MORE sexy? So he's sexy anyway but the possibility of his being a psychopath makes him more sexy. I'm guessing it's his interest in video games that makes him so hot. Cause every guy I know that plays video games exudes relentless sex appeal. I totally understand.

Well, if there's anything that comes to mind when I think of you, it's "the edge of disaster."

Heh, nice guess... the guy who fancies Roberts' shoes actually is rather unbalanced.

Which unbalanced guy is this we're speaking of? Working in the Oak Court Brentanos, I often get an eyeful of all the goddamned weirdos as they come in after scifi novels or manga.

And who are you? Your userpicture doesn't look like anyone I've had the pleasure of meeting. But anyone who lists "sarcasm" as an interest must be cool. Get it? Get it? Hahahahaha!

The crazy guy he's referring to is named Josh, although his last name escapes me right now.
