literary update

scarce few things to mention other than the books i've been reading lately...Amanda and Jason had borrowed me a couple: The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle (Haruki Murakami) and The Hawkline Monster (Richard Brautigan)...i recently finished those and last night went on a bit of a book-buying spree at Bookstar...it had been a very long time since i'd actually bought new books...i got: Martian Time-Slip (Philip K. Dick), The Soft Machine (William S. Burroughs), Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World (Haruki Murakami), and Revenge of the Lawn/The Abortion/So the Wind Won't Blow It All Away (Richard Brautigan)...the winners for the halloween costume contest were posted...some tool who's costume was some fake blood coming out of his neck got first place...AHEM...my fucking costume not only had blood coming out of me but a fucking knife handle sticking out of my chest!!! not THE easiest thing to just slap together...so it's like my costume had everything this tool's had and MORE...of course i didn't win a damned thing...i hate everybody!!!

by the way, I got the pictures developed, There is a great one of Brad (his boss) giving you fellatio, all you can see is the back of brad's head on your crotch, with a huge blood stain above it. I'll give you a copy.

yeah...i have quite a few myself...but dear fucking god he wrote so many books!!! i want to read them all and there's so many and i still want to read other authors...but one good thing about our job is that i'm actually reading a lot now (something i really haven't done nearly as much as i should have throughout my college years...) so hopefully i'll be getting somewhat caught up with all the reading i should be doing...
