spending too much fuckin' money...

ateolftalked to Josh yesterday about the apartment situation...he talked to our old landlord...we are getting our rent money back...that's at least somewhat of a plus on the situation...it turns out he's going to be renovating the place to be those trendy, downtown loft-type apartments...which is good, as it's gonna be too long for us to wait anyway it'll be out of our price range...so it no longer even comes into the future...and it won't piss me off that someone else is living in the cool place i was and having shows there that i should be having...it'll just be some yuppies or something and it won't even be the cool place it was...
uh...work actually sort of felt like work today...not in a bad way...on my lunch break i stopped by the thrift store that's around the corner...i ended up buying another Super 8 camera...my third now...maybe one day i'll actually use them...that would rule...but uh, yea...i went out to the storage unit tonight...i'm getting low on the cds i've salvaged from it so i thought i'd get some more...though Josh has since brought more stuff in it and i couldn't get as far in as i could before...i did get a few shirts, all but one of the few books i had in there, and a few other things including the remote for my dvd player...so now i can skip around and stuff...and if it's a collection of stuff on the dvd, i can watch more than just the first thing, navigate to special features, etc...woohoo! as i couldn't get to my cds, i was feeling sad so i went to Tower...i mostly bought more dvds:

King Tubby/Roots Radics: Dangerous Dub
for the record, i'll note that i don't actually like T-Rex...but the little bit of Roxy Music footage is well worth the price of admission...i guess that's all i gots to say for now, d00dz...

Date: 2003-08-13 11:02 pm (UTC)and yea, it's a really good movie...i think i watched it in spanish class in college...i've had it on vhs...the spanish version with no english subtitles...but now with the dvd i can watch it however i want...dvds are so great...
