long day

the night before last was a bit wacky sleep-wise...i got to sleep early, 11:30 or so...but woke up like 3 hours later...couldn't get back to sleep 'til 5-something...but i did actually manage to wake up at 7:30 and go apply at MCI...i took the typing test, etc and passed and all that...i have an interview today at 2...i think this is where i get to read the cool sentences like "i've had 7 abortions...can't stand babies..." it's going to rule...yea...

after that i went over to Keith's...we waited for Brad to get home...it turns out we were screwed over by the Park Lane apartments (i believe the main place we were looking to get a place at...) we drove around and looked at/for places...from the car anyway...

oh yea, and before i went over, i stopped by Shangri-La to sell some cds (that cheesy Scientist comp i had and a Boss Hog cd...) which also reminds me that my Scientist: Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires arrived in the mail...but anyway, after selling those cds (which i got a surprisingly large amount of money for...i figured they'd screw you over in selling like they screw you over in price when you buy cds...) in trade, i got Slint: Tweez...

but anyway...after the apartment/house hunting we, uh...sat around for a little while...the whole Park Lane thing really screwed us over...i could go into the details, but it seems pointless...someone else got the apartment and we were dicked over and led on for a week...that's all that matters...later i went with Keith over to Shade and Tish's...their new puppy rules...then we went to the Flying Saucer...it sort of sucked 'cuz i was so dead fucking tired by this point (i mean, i had been tired all day...) but we weren't there very long...i was going to hang out longer but i realized how fucking tired i was so i went home...

p.s.
...and when i got home i was so tired that i fucking tripped and fell over while taking my jeans off...and got some rug burn on my knee...(or maybe it's something i would have done even if i wasn't tired...just 'cuz i'm a fucking clutz...at least i have the option of blaming it on lack of sleep...) i did manage to get nearly 12 hours of sleep last night so i's much better...

call this number: 725-7719. that's midtown properties. we rent from them and they have a ton of buildings around here. i know that they at least own the apartments at the corner of washington and cooper and a few duplexes. but yeah, you can just ask if they have any three bedrooms available. they're nice folks.

also, i think becky already told you this but there are always "for rent" signs in the lawns around the university. i have noticed tons of them since we have been looking at houses.

i'm pretty sure they're the ones that own Park Lane (that we were wanting and dicked us over...) if so, that was the only 3 bedroom they have...(and i think they'll be tricker than most 'cuz i think they're the ones that are suing Keith...if it's the same ones that own Park Lane...i mean, we tried to go with them anyway, but they don't have anything is the main thing...)
