paid rent on the space on the way to work...much thanks to Paul and Shawna for listing me as a reference when they got their storage unit making mine half off this month...much help as i'm the only one who pays on it anymore...i went on in and played on my drums for a few minutes before heading to work...work was pretty nondescript...afterwards i went over to Jacques/Amber's...Paul and Shawna were there as well...we went to this rad mexican restaurant...then back to the apartment where tv was watched...woo...oh, and their cat (formerly known as Winston) now has the coolest name ever: Chainsaw...all the pansies went to bed around midnight...i didn't have to go back to work so i went over to Justin's where we sat around for a few hours...and i now believe that The Pat Methany Group very well may be the worst thing ever!!! if i were to think about it, it'd hurt...but i'm choosing not to...thankfully enough... home again...blah blah blah...

Ever heard Zero Tolerance for Silence...solo noise guitar...kinda cool...none of that lame guitar jazz balladry on all his other records....

after what i heard last night, i find it hard to believe that that man ever played anything remotely near tolerable...it was the most abrasive thing i've ever heard in my life! and i'm sure he paid thousands of dollars to get a guitar w/ that tone...i guess "jazz" guys think it's all perfect or whatever...but actually it's the most nauseating sound any instrument w/ strings could possibly produce...hand crafted for that special "butt" sound...
