happy national gift exchanging day!

i eventually woke up yesterday...did a little cleaning in my room...i had to wake up all early today to help clean the house for company and all that so i intended on getting to sleep early (at least relatively) last night but once again i couldn't...did some reading...after a scant few hours of sleep i was awoken by my mom...it sucked, most of my body hurt (especially my head) but eventually some adrenaline kicked in (as well as the ibuprofin...) cleaned some then my grandmother and her husband arrived...food was eaten...gifts were exchanged...i got: a bathrobe, a Simpsons watch (there's a button you push and it says "are we there yet?no are we there yet?no" pretty rad...), 3 Simpsons trivia games...one i already had (i informed my mom, i guess i'll get something else in exchange...) and Homer's and Bart's (which i did not have...) now i'll divulge the gift i got for my parents: i got them dinner at Paulette's (this fancy-schmancy restaurant)...i even picked out their food...appetizer, entrees, dessert, bottle of wine...took care of the tip...all i need now is for mom to actually tell me WHEN...hopefully this won't take as long as i fear...my sister and her boyfriend arrived shortly after my grandmother left...and they left a few minutes ago...my uncle and his family are here now...nothing else to report...
