one time i tried to explain to justin that "damage" is indeed the best yo la tengo song ever, to me, but maybe that it was so because of the loaded content of it (for me). it evokes certain memories that are very intense and painful but also beautiful (cliche cliche) in me. i'm not sure he was really listening at the time though--he's always just gone with the notion that electropura is the best yo la tengo album, and that's that. (laugh)
