very little to tell...went to work...met Brad at Gill's (paying a fucking $5 cover to hear some shitty cover band...) it was pretty cool 'cuz when i first got there, not knowing that the girl sitting right next to me's boyfriend was in the band, i said "it's a good thing i just gave them $5 to sit here and listen to this really loud band play this bad cover!" then she said "you'd better be careful what you say, i'm their manager" "oh, they really suck" it was a cover band...they were playing that "Play That Funky Music White Boy" song, whatever it's called, at the time...it was really bad...and i had already said they sucked, i'm not going to go back just 'cuz someone who knows them is sitting there...more sitting around...then i went back to work...the end...except: early tomorrow (today) i'm going down to Helena to get my car back...yea...

i don't even know what they called themselves...just some shitty frat boy cover band...as if there's a difference between any two of those...heh...though their stirring renditions of "Soul Man" and "Superfreak" awakened the sleeping beast of funk deep within my soul...only reinforced by their cover of some Dave Matthews Band song...too bad i didn't have some underaged girl w/ me to date rape...it was just aural ruffies...
