Inspected

So the inspection happened in the morning. Our landlord came by with two people and it was mostly just him showing the building to them. He did the other apartments too. They weren't in ours long. Really seemed to be related to selling the place. He was back up here later in the afternoon so I went and asked him. And yeah, he's thinking about selling now that he's getting older and wouldn't want to be in a position where he was still doing it when he wouldn't be able to anymore. He said there's nothing happening with it yet and that we would have sixty days notice when it does. The people who came today may have been insurance people, not really sure though. Anyway, lots of stress and freaking out about all of it. Maybe we shouldn't be freaking out, but lots of stress anyway. I've lived here for so long. In other news, Alex called me and interviewed me about the festival for the Flyer once again. For the past couple of days all of that has felt like a deluge. I finished reading The Complete Stories of Leonora Carrington and that was pretty good. In the evening Mary Beth and I went over to the Square to watch A League of Their Own on the outdoor screen. At one point a little towards the beginning, I was sitting with my foot propped up on my knee and a bee landed on my sock and just hung out there for a good long while. It was bathing itself or something then seemed to almost be taking a little nap. I'm freaking out but I'm also "bravely" not moving or anything. Finally it started to move around and then started climbing off my sock towards my leg and I slowly moved my foot down and away and it fell onto the ground. Not sure if it was injured or messed up or something 'cuz after that it just kinda wandered along the ground a good while (but it did fly onto my foot in the first place). Anyway, that's my big story now back to more of this whole existence thing.
