Some More Things

One thing is that I finished reading The Pisces by Melissa Broder. It was okay. It had some audacity that I liked, but overall the writing didn't suit me feeling very stylistically pop fiction. It was also filled with caricatures and clichés. It did start to go into an interesting place at the end, though it finally didn't quite connect. Got a message from my landlord that he's coming by in a few days to do an "inspection" and not even sure what that exactly means but it has us a little panicked. Went to see my dad in the hospital again at night. He looks and sounds a lot better than the last time, though his legs are still weak and he still can't walk and they still don't have a definitive answer on what's going on. Anyway, hopefully things are improving but it's still pretty scary.
