Mary Beth and I walked over to Ballet Memphis in the afternoon for a program of short pieces choreographed by the dancers. It was good stuff! After that, I went on a mission to put up one more flyer for the festival and while out I swung by Goner to see if the flyer I'd put up way earlier than any of the others was still there. It was not! So it was a good thing I checked (I mean for however much it actually matters) and I replaced it. They had a dollar bin on the sidewalk outside and I took a little peek and found a few things to pick up: Yasuaki Shimizu: Music for Commericals, Fred Frith: The Technology of Tears, and Nothing Painted Blue: Power Trips down Lovers' Lane. Then a little later Mary Beth and I made another walk down for another event at Theatreworks for some plays by Sarah's company Out Own Voice.
