Okay, got a few things for today! First there was Friday and my being off and Mary Beth and I picked up some lunch for the Young Avenue Deli and we chomped those fries the what-for. We walked on over to the park in the afternoon. At night we watched Ihcilon stream a pair of sets and they were very wonderful and it was good to watch and chat with a few old friends in the chat. Then I had a "wild" day yesterday. It involved me driving out to Germantown and back three times in one fashion or another. My dad was taking Anthony out on a hiking trip and needed me to take my mom to her dialysis appointment. I also had to take Mary Beth to her haircut appointment so there was a big juggling of time and lots of driving. I got out to my parents' in the morning and after a while took my mom to her appointment. Then came back to their house to make sure Stella was taken out and all that. I had some Garibaldi's delivered. Was just gonna get one big sandwich but then was having trouble hitting the minimum charge without adding a bunch of stuff I didn't want. So I figured I'd get two smaller sandwiches and have one for lunch and one for dinner. Okay, so I eat that and go back home and pick Mary Beth up and take her to Crosstown. Then back to where my mom's appointment. I thought I'd be getting there a little early because of the timing and would have to wait in my car a little bit, but right as I pulled up she called me to tell me she was ready early. Good timing! So take her back home and all of that, then back to pick Mary Beth back up and take her home. And then back to my parents'. I eat my other sandwich. I got outside and play with Leia a good bit. She's such a sweet doggie. I felt so so so bad for her this time. This was earlier in the morning the first time I was over. So my dad had an invisible fence installed around the pool to keep her from walking on the pool cover. That's fine, but it's not working right. I think it's literally not working right now so she's able to get past it inside the perimeter, but then she's freaked out because she thinks going to the perimeter will shock her and she's got everything backwards thinking that outside away from the pool is what's going to hurt her and inside is not. So I can't get her to go out of it and she's freaking out. I took her shock collar off and she still wouldn't, so she kinda got "trained" the opposite. I eventually got her out picking her up (and she's a big dog!) and taking her to her food but she'd just want to keep running back in (and of course now she's just staying over there and running on the pool cover so it's really all just messed up). And all that aside, the area for her to go to the yard beside the pool is kind of narrow and she's been shitting on the concrete, too scared to go onto the grass I guess she thinks that's what's going to shock her even when she's not by the pool. Anyway, it just seems like a big mess. Well, after my dad got back I went back home. My step for the migration today was scheduled around 12-something. I wake up and check and see on the spreadsheet that it's been moved to 9:20. And it's not much before that so I scramble to get ready super-fast. Then I get on and check again and it's not til 11:50 so not sure what was going on there. Anyway, got ready early!
