So the migration yesterday took mostly all day (not as crazy insane late as the previous big release...I mean, I was done just a little after 7 instead of 1 am). It was supposed to be pretty much just the morning but of course lots of things went wrong and had to be fixed and all that fun stuff. Later at night Mary Beth and I watched this movie That Man: Peter Berlin, a documentary about the guy it says it's about. It was good and quite interesting. There was this song that played in it, "Captain Groovy and His Bubblegum Army" and even though it was bad and that's very stupid, I was curious about who did it and looked it up and the name of the band is the same as the song title and then I saw that I actually have the b-side to its 7" on a comp. It's far from the best song on that comp and the title is just as ridiculous as the other title/band name but it's instrumental so listening to it is far less stupid. Anyway, I was entertained by all the somewhat random connection. And I'll besmirch that terrible band name, but I guess it's not that far from Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band so what can I say? I was ordered not to work until after lunch today so I'm taking a nice leisurely morning right now.
