Socialish

Yesterday Mary Beth and I went over to Molly and Josh's for some hanging out. It was originally conceived as a board game day but the board game was never even glanced upon. There was also Courtney, Dustin, Rachel, and Gary there as well. I was pretty self-conscious because I woke up having another damn cold sore bright and big on my face. I had one right after our Ouachita vacation and figured it was being in the sun that triggered it. I see that stress can also be a trigger so being so close to that last one, work's been pretty stressful lately. Anyway, it's annoying. I just wore a mask and kept it on the whole time I was over yesterday. But just some hanging out for a while and Josh and Dustin were playing with some drum machine synth toys. Gary played on the electric cello Josh has, he'd apparently played cello in fourth grade but by now was just having fun screwing around, which is the best way to do it! We got home at night and watched some Parks and Recreation. I got up early for this release today. I got up at 7:30 as my scheduled task is for 8:40 but there were other things going on right when I was waking up so I was involved in that before I even got to shower. It didn't take long and I broke away and showered and now am back and ready, hopefully this will go smoothly. Our tasks are pretty simple, just so long as things don't go wrong...oh yeah.
