Yesterday was a long day. A long work day for a Sunday (or any day). I started at the usual time at 8 am and went til I think a little after 1 am. There were a few breaks in there, but still. And a lot of it was just waiting, but still. At least I coming in an hour later than usual this morning. But our release is going out there, I guess! I had my "proudest" moment when the change I had made at the very last minute (on Friday) for a part of code that I hadn't worked on before and didn't know much about and that I even tested myself and even that I'm pretty sure was lacking...well, that job ran last night and it worked! (It's kind of a dumb thing that's going to be decommissioned soon anyway, but not for a little while and that's why it got put off as like the very last thing at the very last moment 'cuz we originally thought it would just be retired and wouldn't need the change, but there's a little time until then and so it would have broken in the interim.) In one of my breaks last night I played a good bit of Lost Cities with Mary Beth. I forgot to mention that the night before we played some Splendor. Also the night before I did a little work too as I'd had one of the steps on the big process sheet assigned to me. It was a short one and didn't take much time though. Anyway, now's the time when we start to see all the new stuff in actual use and have fun with everything that breaks.
