Yesterday on my lunch break we did our tfm grocery run. While out driving in the afternoon, I had a weirdly annoying experience. So I'm driving from the end of Wells Station, the street that Jerry's Sno Cones is on, and I get on from the very end so I traverse the entire street. Well, at some point since I'd last been down they installed speed bumps on it. They put them like every thirty yards or so (I'm not good at guessing distance, but they're pretty frequent). These are these newer, small-but-very-steep speed bumps. The speed limit on this street is thirty-five, but you really can't hit these things over ten mph (I mean, you can kinda hit them at fifteen but then you really feel the car shake and you feel that that wasn't good). So the whole length of this damn street you're constantly hitting these things and having to come to a near-complete stop over and over and over. It was insane. Anyway, what else? In the evening, Mary Beth read to me "The Bloody Chamber" by Angela Carter. After hearing about Bob Odenkirk's heart trouble and hospital scare, we watched some Mr. Show in celebration of the man's greatness. Well, that's about it for now.
