Premonition

I got asked to come into the office for a few days next week. Yikes! It's been so long. That won't be fun dressing up at any modicum of dress. Had a pretty lazy evening last night. My stomach was giving me the same trouble as the night before, but I managed to get to bed early. At least caught up on some sleep today. Oh, and I got the rest of my birthday books in the mail yesterday: The Gift by Vladimir Nabokov, The Infernal Desire Machine of Doctor Hoffman by Angela Carter, Speedboat by Renata Adler, Oreo by Fran Ross, and In the Heart of the Heart of the Country by William H. Gass.
