La flor de mi secreto

Yesterday I ordered some used books off Burke's website for independent bookstore day and selected pickup and the message said they'd contact when the order's ready to be picked up so I thought I'd be getting that yesterday, but still haven't yet. So hopefully I'll get the message and pick some books up today. Mary Beth and I went for a walk around the neighborhood yesterday evening and it was good to get some exercise (no matter how paltry). We also mapped out my vacation time for the rest of the year. I hadn't used any yet because of, well, you know pandemic and no traveling and all that fun stuff. So now I've got the rest of the year I have to use it and still not do any of that stuff. At night we watched The Flower of My Secret and it was really good. I woke up a little early again today (considering how late I went to sleep). I mean, I didn't get as little sleep as the night before but I got about seven hours. When I woke up I didn't feel tired at all, I think I did sleep deep while I was asleep 'cuz of how tired I'd been. But after being awake a little while I am feeling a bit of tiredness around the edges. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention my other "adventure." There was this large fly annoying us around the house (not like horsefly-large, but maybe like twice as big or so as a regular housefly, and its buzzing was like correspondingly twice as loud). Anyway, later at night I ended up catching it in a cup while it was in midair and letting it outside. That felt kinda like an accomplishment of some sort.
