It was kinda of a weird day yesterday, early-on hearing about Vern Rumsey (Unwound's bass player, that Vern Rumsey) dying. It was kind of a slow-burn for me receiving the news, from not registering at first to being pretty weepy later in the day. He was only five years older than me. Definitely a sad and awful loss. In other news, I got the first part of my Barnes & Noble Criterion sale in the mail: Scorsese Shorts and Taste of Cherry. After work Mary Beth and I did our main grocery excursion.
