Ballentimes

Mary Beth made a very lovely dinner for VD yesterday. We enjoyed it with some prosecco and had an overall nice afternoon. At night we went over to Ballet Memphis for the "Winter Mix" performance. It was three different pieces. The one in the middle was quite good. In general, or at least in the first one, I seem to like it better when there's only one or two dancers 'cuz otherwise I get overloaded and miss what's going on when there's a bunch of different things going on all over the floor. Though the middle one had parts like that where I did like the way everything moved around, so who knows. The last one was about a pig and kinda goofy and not so much my thing. But we had a nice time. Later at home we finished the newer season of Shrill. I was able to "give" Mary Beth her Valentine's present (at least what's finished of it). I've been working on a cover of "Photograph" (as in the Def Leppard song). Still got work to do on it (and the Christmas cover!) but there you have it. It's been quite cold in the apartment, but I'm awake now and it's a new day and all that.
