In and Out

Yesterday morning I finished reading Operation Shylock by Philip Roth. It was very good. One of his better books that I've read. And very much on his side of postmodernism. I spent a good portion of yesterday working on music. Recording drums and guitar and synth. I got all the basic tracks down for the thing I'm working on so it should be nearing close to finished. My drumming was pretty sloppy but I made up for it with enthusiasm!... Went in to work today, unlike most people. I mean, it was damn very empty. I pretty much just spent the entire time talking to Patrick. And now I'm home early. Woo. A song I worked on a few weeks ago is now out on a comp. I'm putting the link to my track below, the rest of the comp should be good too. It has Maurice (aka snwv) so that should rule. Just came out so haven't listened to anything else yet. My printed books (that will be a present for a couple people) that gave me such a fucking headache going back and forth repeatedly with the printer...they finally arrived. Looking pretty good! I mean, the cover's a little blurry but that's expected as I only ever had a lo-res jpg of that artwork, and the text is quite readable (I did have to lower the resolution to get it to an uploadable file size). I wish I'd gotten one made for myself now!
