I finished reading Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton yesterday evening. It was okay. Some of the writing's good, but it does drag a little or maybe it feels that way just 'cuz you know how it's going to end (though the big climactic scene is dragged out for suspense almost to the point of comedy). Had a Memphis Concrète meeting last night at Chris's. The whole gang was there. Some good topics of discussion and all that. Luís gave everyone some cds he brought back from Portugal: Sci Fi Industries: The Air Cutter and v/a: Thisagree & Shadow. Jacques brought me and Mary Beth some belated birthday presents. I got a couple books: I Am Error by Nathan Altice and Space Odyssey by Michael Benson (so I get to ready about my favorite gaming console and my favorite movie!). Work today was pretty nondescript. Alright, there ya go.
