Imaginary Landscape

I went and practiced a John Cage piece last night. I'll be performing "Imaginary Landscape No. 4" at the Continuum festival (tomorrow!). It's twelve radios and I'm co-operating one of the radios and I'm pretty damn excited about it! Jenny conducted. My partner is Kip and he was there last night (most people weren't, more will be there tomorrow). Practice didn't last long at all, but it was fun reading the musical notation (the score is in a kind of augmented standard musical notation). I threw together a flyer for the show I'm curating (but not performing, since I'm performing the day before!) and that's in a couple weeks so I'm excited about that. Forgot to mention before that at some point I've shredded the tire while riding my exercise bike! I think since it's been pseudo-permanently mounted I've forgotten to check the pressure in a long time so that probably contributed to its demise. I finished reading A Pale View of Hills by Kazuo Ishiguro. It was really good. Pretty devastating! And then there's a whole lot to unpack here and think about... Oh yeah, and I got off a bit early today since I worked late on Tuesday. Boom!
