Not a whole lot yesterday. Picked back up on watching Mozart in the Jungle with Mary Beth last night. Up to the fourth season. A couple bits of festival-related frustrations have emerged. Apparently someone bought a Leslie Deere book after she was out of copies on hand and gave their address to us to have it mailed (yeah, ugh, not sure why this overly complicated scenario came about to begin with, also I haven't found anyone who was running merch who actually remembers this customer or this happening, but the word-of-mouth is that it did) and this written-down address has gone missing or is nowhere to be found. So been doing some detective work to figure this all out. No luck so far. Then Harry got back to me that the monitor outputs of his pa aren't working. So I'll try to see if I can get that figured out. Anyway, moving on. What's to move on to? I don't think I ever mentioned Saturday's after-party. Across the street at the Hi-Tone small room. A few dj's (Ben Bauermeister and Quentin who I saw perform in the same room Friday night, maybe someone else). A lot of people dancing. I flapped my body around in five-second bursts now and again until I was like "ugh I'm way too exhausted." What else? Wolf Eyes talking about the theatrical nature of their performances. (Paraphrase disguised as quotes:) "Everybody knows how to act cool. I put these sunglasses on and there's a wall between you and the audience." Anyway, I guess that's about it.
