Exponential

Mary Beth and I met Molly, Josh, Maria, and Lila for dinner at Aldo's last night. We hung out and had a belated christmas exchange. I got a rhythm Pocket Operator so that's pretty sweet. I can make some drum machine bips in my pocket now. There was another damn production issue at work today. And it was one I've previously fixed, though the code that fixes the issue is sequestered on a branch for a ticket that's awaiting the approval of a security exception. Anyway, so emails are being sent from the communications api in a loop. For each recipient, it sends emails to all the recipients. So if your request has five recipients it will send them all the same email five times and so on. So a goddamn derp! But it was quick to fix (and the fix was only one line of code anyway) so we got it through everything and it was so annoying we had to get an emergency deployment. But that got done and at least it was resolved quickly. But I can stand not having any damn production issues to fix right about now. Other than that, that's about it. Sad to hear about Mark E. Smith's dying. I'm reminded of when my grandmother was in the car with me one time and I was listening to The Fall and she said, "he sounds like an idiot." Good memories.
