The Price of Wood

Mary Beth and I plowed through all of Alias Grace last night. It's a book of hers I haven't read, which I should rectify. I have the book (along with the many many books I have that I haven't gotten around to yet). The show was good, I could see the book being even better. Also, I tried to put in my new module last night and came to find out that the fancy and unique wood panel is markedly thicker than the standard metal eurorack panels and none of the screws that work for every other module in my system will fit. I think the screws it came with are longer than usual but that doesn't help me because modules always come with the kind of screw that doesn't work with my style of case and I have to get my screws separately. So, the minor frustrations of a synth nerd.
