The deployment Monday night went alright. I started a little later than I could've 'cuz someone said they were going to call me when it was ready (our deployment was dependent on a database deployment happening first), but they didn't and I had to log on to check online to make sure and it had been done a while earlier. Anyway. Came home yesterday to a cd in the mail: Tangerine Dream: The Keep soundtrack. One of the first actual auctions I've successfully done on ebay in what feels like forever. I generally don't miss that nervous anticipation. Last night Mary Beth and I went up to Crosstown for Indie Memphis's annual trivia for shoot & splice. First time we've done it. A lot of people were there. It was a lot of fun. Our whole table came together as a team (all people I didn't know). We all did pretty good at getting questions. After the first round we were the winners. Alas, we lost the lead by the end. I was annoyed that John Carpenter's first movie with Kurt Russell was not Escape from New York but some made-for-tv movie about Elvis!? I'd never even heard of that, damnit. And there I was feeling like I knew that one. But I did impress everyone by how fast I answered knowing that the monsters in Night of the Lepus was rabbits (and I've never even seen it, other than clips or half in the background). I'm good for something. But I was impressed with some of the other answers others got so yeah. Today was a little frustrating at work. There was production issue and I was stuck on a bridge call for a few hours. Where it's like you're busy but not getting any work done. It also went straight through lunch so I had to take mine an hour and a half late. Luckily my scrummaster next to me had crackers stashed and offered some when I was on the verge of getting distracted. Anyway. It's funny, Zach may actually be changing his mind on going to the festival after all. I can't believe how soon it is. And that also coincides with my new team members starting. So crazy! Okay, I guess that's about it. Had a talk with Mary Beth this evening, about something my sister said at thanksgiving. Not sure the level of veracity, but that may be something, when I find out (sorry for the vagueness for now).
