Restart

The Family Ghost practiced early this morning for the first time in forever. We had to be quiet 'cuz of my neighbor's studies, but we were planning to do some writing anyway. And it coincided with us wanting to do new more electronic stuff for the upcoming show as well as this soundtrack we've been asked to do. So we set up with Ryan on my traditional synth rig (Moog/Prophet/drum machine), Jacques on guitar-triggered sampler, Paul on string synth, and me on eurorack. We did like three things and they were pretty sweet for once. So it was pretty good. Right after that was Memphis Forward's first event at Overton Park (for an international workers' day thing). Not a huge turnout, but an okay one. There was an impending storm that didn't quite hit. But it was alright. Just got a text that our upstairs neighbors are moving in a month. Hopefully we'll end up with someone decent.
